I provide therapy for problems with mood and anxiety. The focus is on using techniques that have been demonstrated to work in the research literature. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness are the forms of treatment I rely on to help make changes.
I also provide parental guidance for parents who are seeking to help their children make important changes. Treatment focuses on parent child interaction and skill building to help children learn new ways of coping and behaving.
Psychological Skills Training
An increasing amount of evidence suggests that learning a number of basic psychological skills can improve performance in sport, business and academics. Addressing topics such as motivation, focus, keeping emotional arousal at optimum levels, imagery and goal setting is typically an important part of the the intervention. Consultation is available for individuals or teams.
All services cost $190 per 50 minute session.
